My Extremely Autumn-tastic Wishlist!

I am obsessed with fall. I don’t think I need to repeat that, but I’ve got to start this post somewhere. I love the cooler weather, the warm colours, and the hot drinks. I wish I could go to the mall and buy everything burgundy/plaid/wool/leaf patterned. But since I would also like to eat and pay rent, I’m just going to put all my dream clothes and decor in this list!

Clothes

Classic Captivation Shirt Dress by ModCloth

This adorable dress checks pretty much all my boxes. There is a floral pattern with warm reds, greens, and yellows. It’s a nice knee length, which I prefer. It also has long sleeves, but they’re sheer so not too warm. The waist is perfect for my body shape too!

Everyday Eureka V-Neck Cardigan by ModCloth

I am OBSESSED with cardigans. I own about a half dozen, and I always go to them first when I  need a warmer layer. I adore this one because of how unique it is. Colour blocking is not something I usually wear, but I love it in this piece. I might be a bit tough to build an outfit around it since there is so much going on with it, but I’m not opposed to wearing all black.

Hell Bunny Fortune Favors the Cave Skirt in Graveyard by ModCloth

Three cheers for subtle Halloween nerdiness! This is just a black A-line skirt until you get up close and notice it’s actually a spooky, scary graveyard full of spooks and scares (and like…a lot of bats)!

Accessories

Look Before You Leaf Earrings by ModCloth

These are so cute! I have been wearing more earrings lately, and these golden leaves would be perfect in the fall. I mean what says autumn more than that?

Up At 3Am Kitty Fur Trim Backpack by GameStop

This backpack is already pretty cute, but the haunting glowing eyes are what make it a must-have for fall! Imagine walking around Halloween night with this spooky kitty watching your back? The trim also looks very floofy.

Turn Back Prime T-Strap Flat by Modcloth

I really like how these shoes are quite fancy and stylish, but they’re flats. I honestly assumed they must be heels of some description. I am not made to wear heels on an everyday basis. That plus the beautiful red makes these to die for.

Glitz Is Halloween Statement Necklace by ModCloth

Glitter and Halloween corniness? Sign me right up! This obviously isn’t the most “high fashion” item on this list, but sometimes you just gotta wear a bunch of pumpkins, spiders, and bats around your neck, ya know?

Housewares

Galaxy Things Clearly Ceramic Mug by ModCloth

Another one of my obsessions: mugs. I drink coffee and tea, so obviously I need 27 mugs, right? This one is a bit different to my usual collection since it’s not a super nerdy merch. But I do enjoy space as well, and the “we are here” will remind me of our insignificance in an endless, apathetic void! Fun!

Miscellaneous

Resident Evil by G2G Games (Xbox One | PS4)

Why just watch a scary movie, when you can totally submerge yourself into one? I’ve never played this game, but I’ve watched a couple people play it on YouTube and it is pretty spooky. I think I should probably get an Xbox or PS4 first…

This book is the first major study of England’s biggest and best-known witch trial; which took place in 1612, when ten witches were arraigned and hung in the village of Pendle in Lancashire. In this volume, 11 experts from a variety of fields offer new surveys of these events and their meanings for contemporaries, for later generations, and for the present day. Essays look at the politics and ideology of witch-hunting, the conduct of the trial, the social and economic contexts, the religious background, and the local and family details of the episode. This is the most comprehensive study of any English witch trial.

Life following the zombie apocalypse is no bag of chips.

That is unless you’re former Police Detective Alex Ringo and you’ve discovered the resting place of the most valuable comic book of all.

Desperate to add the Holy Grail of comics to his mobile man cave, Alex will risk being eaten alive by a bevy of zombie fanboys to gain his prize.

In her small town of Cold Meadow, Virginia, life seems to be going exactly the way Danielle Donovan wants. She’s captain of her cheerleading team, getting ready to head off to college on the sunny west coast, and she is the most adored girl in her school. Though Dani swears she is innocent, she starts to question the possibility of those closest to her being guilty. From her laid-back best friend Gage Mitchell to the human firecracker also known as Frankie Carson, Dani is forced to question everything she knows about her life and those she loves if she wants to ever see Scotia again, and more importantly, avoid being the latest missing person

Beware, the faint of heart! TWISTED TALES FOR TWISTED MINDS by Eli Jacqueline is just as it seems. Blending crime, drama, suspense and fantasy, here are short stories that will fulfill your appreciation for the darker side of life. It starts with “Sinners,” the tale of Castile and Katherine, two forbidden lovers with hidden agendas trapped inside of a hotel room on a hot day with a storm brewing. Which one will the stifling heat break first? “The Package” features Greta, a housewife preparing for another perfect day with her husband. Until a package arrives at the door that reveals the true extent of her carefully constructed world. Ending the book is perhaps the most twisted tale of all, “A Wilted Rose.” Robert recounts the moments that led up to him confessing his love to his dear Rose. But is he telling the full story? Packed full of interesting characters, shocking turns, and stomach-churning moments that reveal truths about the human condition, this collection was made especially for those who just can’t stand the normal.

Olivia Brownlow is no damsel in distress. Born in a workhouse and raised as a boy among thieving London street gangs, she is as tough and cunning as they come. When she is taken in by her uncle after a caper gone wrong, her life goes from fighting and stealing on the streets to lavish dinners and soirees as a debutante in high society. But she can’t seem to escape her past … or forget the teeming slums where children just like her still scrabble to survive.

Jack MacCarron rose from his place in London’s East End to become the adopted “nephew” of a society matron. Little does society know that MacCarron is a false name for a boy once known among London gangs as the Artful Dodger and that he and his “aunt” are robbing them blind every chance they get. When Jack encounters Olivia Brownlow in places he least expects, his curiosity is piqued. Why is a society girl helping a bunch of homeless orphan thieves? Even more intriguing, why does she remind him so much of someone he once knew? Jack finds himself wondering if going legit and risking it all might be worth it for love
